Materials:
Blue paint
Aluminum foil
Cardboard or something sturdy to wrap the foil around
Stickers (optional)
Sand (optional)

Activity (Procedure):
Parent with help wrap foil around sturdy object
Help put paint on foil
The child will move paint around with fingers

Activity Wrap Up:
The child will wash hands and can show parents what they created

How do I know what my child is learning? (Assessment)
Paint on different surfaces, such as large and small boxes, corrugated paper, wax paper, foil, and sandpaper.

How can you extend this activity? (Modifications)
They could add things like shaving cream, glue sand/shells, or stickers of sea animals

Helpful Hints: (Pitfalls & Solutions)
The pitfalls are taking the foil off the sturdy object, using something that you do not have to take the foil off (I am using cereal box, another example is use the glass of picture frame that way you can put it back in the frame and put it on the wall)
