Sensory at home...

Sensory @ home – Great distractions when you need a minute to yourself to get something done around the house!

  1. Make your own mini sensory bin
    1. Using a brownie pan, soup pot, or empty bucket of sorts… you can fill it with anything sensory: soapy water, dried rice and beans, shaving cream, sand, other natural materials, etc! Fill your bin with various scooping items: cups, spoons, strainers, etc.
  2. Car wash in the kitchen sink!
    1. Put two pots in your sink. Fill one with soapy water and sponge/towel, the second with clean water. Have a drying towel ready on the counter. Let your children play with toy cars or other plastic toys in the “Car wash” or “bubble bath.”
