Overall Purpose: To teach children healthy habits to avoid illness

Behavioral Objectives/Learning Outcomes:
Students will learn how to properly wash their hands in a fun way!
Motivational Techniques: (What will you use to pair with lesson (i.e. a book, song, video etc)
Sing Song: Twinkle, twinkle, little star, look how clean my two hands are. Soap and water, wash and scrub, get those germs off rub-a-dub. Twinkle, twinkle,little star, look how clean my two hands are.
Procedures: (Step by Step how to do the activity)
Have child share what they are drawing.
Assessment:
Was your child able to tell you ways they could keep germs off of their hands? What song could they use?
Modifications:
If child is having trouble remembering the song to sing, prompt them or sing with them!
Make your own picture of germs with your child to help give them ideas of what to draw.
Helpful Hints:
If a child chooses not to draw a germ and draws something else, possibly prompt your child to tell you what they think about germs while they continue drawing.

- Give child a piece of paper and draw what they think a germ looks like.
